sPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Music night on Fridays! Come and listen to our local artist, Mark Johnston and his guests, on October 26 and November 16.

Our last day of the 2018 season will be November 18th!

Come and join us on December 9th for a special event, Christmas Market - “Polish Kiermasz”, featuring Polish pastry, baked goodies, European chocolates and sweets, variety of smoked meats and fish, Eastern European art and jewelry, and more…We will be open from 11 am to 4 pm and also serve lunch with a limited Polish style menu.

The experience

When you walk into family-owned Villa Tatra Restaurant, you enter the old world of Eastern Europe. The burnished wood walls, hanging tapestries, gift items such as glowing amber jewelry, brass chess sets, and other art treasures make this a true “destination restaurant.”

“There is so much love and care in each dish prepared at the Villa Tatra. I always feel like I am eating at the family’s table. I adore the smoked salmon sandwich, but the fresh trout I had the other day melted in my mouth. It was perfect! I can’t believe how lucky we are to have the Villa Tatra as our ‘neighborhood’ restaurant. Don’t miss visiting this special place.”

- Kate S., Pinewood Springs

“When I step through the wooden doors of Villa Tatra and hear the bell ring, I know that I will be warmly greeted and that I will have a meal unlike any other in an unrivaled atmosphere. This is my home away from home without a doubt.”

- Pat R., Pinewood Springs

Starting with a scenic drive to the traditional mountain chalet, Villa Tatra envelops you in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is well worth the trip for a classic Polish or Eastern European meal with pierogi-dumplings, Polish kielbasa-sausage and sauerkraut, smoked salmon and trout on the smoked platter combination, homemade pastry with coffee, and a bistro/bar area that serves cocktails and 30 different European and domestic beers. This will be an occasion that you will not soon forget, and will bring you back time after time.

About our name

The Tatra Mountains are the highest range in the Carpathian Mountains, which rise along the border between Poland and Slovakia. The "High Tatra" rises steeply from a plateau along the border and resembles the Alps of Western Europe. The region's lakes and climate are ideal for both summer and winter recreation.
